The rest of my stack is Office 2007 and that's where it will remain. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And yes, DAMO is as bad as I make out. That was a real 2 day exercise with the application...no fantasy.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Anyway, I only know what I know. I have version 8 as installed by our IT staff. By default it displayed all of my unread mail in red. I had to change that 'default'.&lt;/p&gt;
